096 // Today I wanted to fail. I wanted to press snooze on my commitments. I wanted to back out of writing anything. I wanted to sulk. I wanted to have the satisfaction of knowing “I can’t finish anything.” I wanted to be comforted by lingering traces of trying instead of accomplishing. I wanted so badly to pull up the covers and snuggle against that familiar frustration.
